The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA), the private fundraising and alumni relations organization for UW-Madison, is seeking an Advancement Program Intern. The Advancement Programs intern will assist with program and event planning, event preparation, event execution, and post event work for the Advancement Programs Team. This role will be active in the planning and execution of WAA’s annual Grandparents University (GPU) program and will serve as a lead counelor for the three sessions of GPU in July.
Following the conclusion of GPU, this position will assist with numerous Advancement Program initiatives including the 41-54 pipeline, Bascom Hill and Van Hise Society engagement opportunities, and other relevant programs. Advancement Program Interns are ambassadors of WFAA and UW-Madison.
This position will work 20 hours per week and begin in summer of 2024 with the opportunity to continue into the 2024-2025 academic year.
Compensation: $16-17 per hour, based on experience, for an approximate total of 20 hours per week (with the option to increase hours in the summer)
